My personality type is ENDS that means I am more of a leader than a follower I like things to be my way but I am open to others ideas. I AM MOST LIKELY to have a job in a leadership position . I Learned out of every leaning style im more vedral then anything. i also scored extremly high in kinesthetic, Interpersonal and Intrapersonal.

"Thieft and tagging on the campus of animo'"
I do agree with Mr. Chang it is unfortunat that we do have certain students how would what to destory our schools repertation of being a safe and clean school. I do fill very bad for the students who lost thier computer do to the thiefs in this school. About tha tagging situation that a big problem why would you what to deface our school . There not hurting the facaltiy but the whole school the students who now have to pay the consequences for one mans action how messed up is that we are now being denied our bathroom rights. And for those students who now of these corrpets they need to sayb somthing let some one know who is responsible for the good of the school . were a small school and the only way we can prosper as a school is by working as a team to stop these things from occuring in our school campus.

1)Yes i did enjoy with meeting with Luis Rodriguez because we got yto all meet the man inside the book i was just really cool to have meet him in person and to have heard his story up front .

2) WAHT i liked most about meeting him was that we had the oppertunity to see frist had what he has do with his life to better help him self and the coomunity .

3)Yes i do thing he's a great leader becuase many people do look up to him as a role model just because how he was able to change his whole furture by one action which in his case was to get of drugs.

4) What i like most about the community center was the fact thier main goal was to help youth get of the streets by getting them involed in music, dance and most improtant culture to show them a seens of pride in who thw are and why the need to succused, i think is a very nice hangout spot

thew most intersting part of his dicussion was when he told us about his child hood and how he felt about school .Beacuase he made us fealize that every one struggle to get a good education even back than. and that it was curagious of him to figth the school system to make a better school so people could have a fare education.

i think he is a very brave person to have created such a successful school. and to have go against the norm of what education is to what it should be. mr.barr i a leader of our time he's the chage in education today.

QUESTIONS:1) Do you think the author really fell into holes in the sidwalk? What do you think the "holes" in this poem are a methaphor for? What kinds of "holes" have you fallen into in your life?

I think that the holes methaphoriclly represented the predictuments kids often find them selves in for instance often I find my self in a whole adout school but like the peom I always find my self in the same problems i had last semester beacuase i was commelting assingment.and I feel in that hole metaphoriclly and than I never took responsibillty realsing I'm the one who chose to procrastinate and the its my fault i'm in the same situation .

2) When I first read this poem, I thought of what's happening to your grades. Some of you seem to be stuck in hole #2: your grades go down; you pretend you don't see it; you have "F"s again; you can't believe you're in the same place; you say it isn't your fault; it takes you forever to get out or you don't get out at all. Which hole are you in right now? Why do you think so?

right now i must be in that lazy hole i no longer feel like doing anything , i do my homework ever night but i have missing assingment when i'm apsent and i am often absent so i fall behind and ever time my grades decreses and im aware off it but i know i chose wheater i what to improve it or not and i do make up those assingments but im a procrasinnater and i leave everthing to the last moment. so its my fault for not having good grades.

what i have to do next time too not be in the same situation as i am now is to make up those missing assingment right away so i won't feel so exsousted with my self at the end.and than i wouldnot have to stress my self out.

I think its sad that the school had to go to the extrem of explelling them both 'but it was good that they did because it was very serious what they did . but your have consenquence for the mistakes you do in life.

I think it was the best one because by not taking an action with them others will think it's ok to do want they did because they know they won't get introuble and' now animo students realise that school is not a place wre you can act inapporperate

i wasnot here to attened it but i heard about it and i think it was great that it was student lead but it was a shame how people reacted to the situation they should have been more uderstaning.

I lived in Coasta Rica when I was a child and for a while I lived in Colombia.But when was 11 years old I came back to L.A to live with my father .

yes, I would consider my self a leader because people look up at me to be a goodexanple example don't only at home but at school.

frist what is a leader well some one who's an example to all some one you wish you could be like ,one day some one to look up to. See the difference between a good leader and a bad leader is that bad leaders make wrong dissicions and good leaders base thier dissicions on others for the good for every ones benifts. Personaly I've had experience with being a leader I got the oppertunitly to join a leadership group who helped out the communtiy and help kids by fund rising money to get activities for them. my exprenice with working with a leadership group was really special I felt good because I was helping a cause and to know i was helping others even if it was in pettiy little things.I think my leader ship skills come from my mom i admire her. To me my mother has been my leader I've looked up to her all my life what ever knowledge I know adout life came from her .she's my role model and I all wish to be half the person she is.

yesterday we had a insprired actor Danny Trejo come and talk to us about gang voilence and how sometimes you make bad disitions that you my regret later in life . he taght use a very improtant lesson even though you make those bad decisions it's ok that part of life but he told us to be careful which path we take in life. He tought me that it's never to late for change. He told us his story on his own presonal expreince's and people he knows and how he wishs they would of do differently . Personally I can relate to some of his situtatoins but I learned something what ever you do today,now you will be rewarded for it later on In life and that what ever you chose to do will open different paths for you in life so sometimes you have to do things with out asking for any thing in return to just know that the good you do will one day come back thats the process of life.Karma will come back one day somtimes good and sometimes. bad ,but to over come what ever life throws you . Ithink that some pepole acn really benift for real story like Danny Trejo to help them figure out their own lives.

He was sopose to attened a meeting in menthennes at chruch but because of king's death treats he decide to stay in the lorain hotel .The other went to the meeting without King but once the arrived the people wanted to hear Mr.king so they called martian that stormy night and and told him that today was his nigth and the were counting on him so,he came to deliver his inspiring speech and his last .That night peole said he was even more emotional than ever he had every one weeping in tears.Martians coleegs heard the radio and her the announer giving out Martians exsact where about but know one found that to be the lest suspcious no one had a clue that martian was going to be assasinated the very next day this event affected many african american and as well as other minoritties this way a day that the whole nation would remember

my grades have gone down In the last to weeks it's no because i'm doing bad academmicly but because I sometimes miss school and forget to make up pitty assingment .You know you do you homework and forget some thig and never make them up but I my case the assingment keep on adding. One way I can bring my grade up is by doing all of my homework that same day,of course it wouldn't hurt me to study more often .In my opion I think that it is great that Mrs.Chang knows how his students are doing and that he's concern .That shows a lot of charter in his part it seems llike he wants to improve not for the good of the school but for the best interest on our parts

What I do to hurt my self I would never hurt my self phyisiclly but at times I can hurt my self mentailly . For insent you consently put you self down that hurts you a great deal , and In my case I think the only way I hurt my self Is by not always beliving In myself not having that confedance I know I should have.I think as a teen we go through lots of emotinal stages and my advice to other Is just have confedence in your self like you for who you are .Get to know your self as an individal.

My halloween was that great I went to the school dance it was ok I had fun .On saturday I spend my day with my best friend Valerie we went to a party. It was fun just to spend time with her and hang out .On halloween I went trick or treating with my dad and sister we had fun but we didn't get a lot of candy.It kind of sucked I just don't enjoy Halloween like I used to0.I'm getting to old for It prehaps. My opinion about the elections ,I think thier great!I think it is good to put kids encharge of school actives because we can repersent the kids of Animo Venice.And speake on thier be half. Now I understand what Mr.Chang is saying ,he's concern with the fact people are just voting for thier friends.And I AGREE but thats polictics for you .You always want some one you trust a like to be in office and of course friends have perfences .

You should aways pick the best runnnig cadidate for the good of your school.You want to pick some one who's responsble and who will don their job right.The type of cadidate you choose can effect you and your school and if you vote just for any person they can trun out to be the worst cadidate ever.
